By funding this plan, we can improve the schools of Black and Latino students in our city who are more likely to live in communities with higher rates of pollution and learn in schools with outdated infrastructure. CFHS would also drastically decrease our carbon emissions, save taxpayers millions each year in energy bills and make New York City a national leader in addressing climate change and environmental issues.
